Archery Velvet

Archery Velvet - September 6th- September 17th

Kentucky is one of very few states that offers a hunting season early enough for a hunter to bag a trophy whitetail buck in velvet.

We also offer the second week of September archery. We have been successful in harvesting bucks that are still on their summer patterns this week. However, there is a 50/50 chance of harvesting bucks still in velvet this week.

Dates: Sept. 6-10 (FULLY BOOKED) & September 13-17
Includes: 5 day hunt, 6 night stay

Pricing: $5,000 (6-10) and $4500 (13-17)

All Hunters are required to give 50% of the hunt cost as a deposit at the time of booking. The deposit will become non-refundable 60 days prior to your hunt.

• Antler size restrictions are enforced. We have a 130" minimum for archery, and 140" minimum for firearm and muzzleloader. We charge $100 for every inch under the minimum with a cap of $1,000. We do this to ensure quality hunting on our lands for years to come.
• Wound Policy - If a buck is shot and wounded, resulting in drawn blood, a hunter can continue to hunt free of charge but if a second buck is hit, resulting in drawn blood (even if recovered) we charge an additional $1,500. We view that as potentially two bucks killed.
